WHO WE ARE
OUR HISTORY
In 1970 Wayman and Nelda Mitchell moved to Prescott AZ to take over a small, struggling congregation. Shortly after arriving, God saved a number of young hippies who were very different than anyone in the church. But as they were welcomed, God began to pour out His Spirit on the congregation.
Personal evangelism began to be one of the basic foundations of the church. Then came impact teams: Groups of people that would travel to other nearby cities to help people there experience what God was doing here. Over time, God began to reveal His plan of discipleship: Training young couples for ministry within a local church. In 1973 the first couple was launched directly into the ministry – and God blessed them!
Churches then began to be planted throughout the Southwestern United States, and then further across America as converts prayed for the Gospel to be preached in their hometowns. To date, there are over 2200 churches in 44 US states, and 117 nations of the world.

In 1979 a couple was launched into the beautiful city of Santa Fe, NM. Since the beginning days of the church, God brought in precious people that helped establish a thriving work. The Potters House is continuing to make disciples, plant churches and reach lost souls for the kingdom of God.
OUR PASTOR
Nate Rush grew up in Prescott, Arizona. He experienced a life changing conversion at the age of 27. He was radically delivered from a life of drugs and alcohol. The greatest miracle was his deliverance from self hatred, agony and despair, having experienced the death of 2 brothers. After salvation he then began to pursue the call to preach. In 2014 he married Ashley and immediately started to work in a drug rehab ministry. In 2016 he went on staff in Prescott as the outreach director. Later that year they were launched into Elk Grove, California to pioneer a brand new church. In late 2017 Nate and Ashley responded to a need to take over a congregation in Denver, Colorado. After some years there they went back to Prescott, Arizona and served within the congregation. In January 2023 Nate, Ashley and their 6 daughters were given the opportunity to assume the Pastorate of Santa Fe Christian Fellowship Church.
